Each Calendar in your Keep&Share account has a unique iCalendar link that you can copy and use to publish to other online calendar feeds, such as your Apple calendar. This iCalendar feed is an industry-standard format for exchanging calendar information and serves as a direct connection between your Keep&Share calendar and your Apple calendar.

When you are synchronizing your Keep&Share iCalendar feed with your Apple calendar, your published iCalendar feed transfers data out of your Keep&Share account to your Apple calendar. However, because Apple calendars do not have all the features that Keep&Share has, they will not accept all of the data, and some of your data will not be visible in the new program, e.g. color coding or more than 100-200 characters of text for events or Day Notes, depending on the program's limits.

Note: the iCalendar feed feature is available only to paid Keep&Share accounts.

Publishing your Keep&Share Calendar to your Apple calendar

First, you will need to copy the iCalendar feed for the Keep&Share Calendar that you want to publish to your Apple calendar. You can do this by accessing your Calendar’s “Customize” screen. You can copy the link to either your public or private iCalendar feed. Follow the steps in the image below:

Once you have copied your Keep&Share iCalendar feed, you will then need to open your Apple calendar application on your desktop. Once your Apple Calendar is open, you will need to go to the menu for your Apple calendar at the top of your screen and click on “File.” When you have clicked on “File” then click on the “New Calendar Subscription” option. After that, follow the steps in the image below:

After you have clicked on the “OK” button, your Keep&Share Calendar will then be published to your Apple calendar.

How often your Keep&Share iCalendar feed updates in an external calendar program is entirely dependant upon the host calendar. This means that it could take as much as 12 hours for your iCalendar feed to update. Keep&Share does not have any control over how often your iCalendar feed updates in external programs.
